Angel Of Light is a Colombian Heavy Metal band founded in Bogotá in 2014, driven by the energy of traditional metal, powerful riffs, and lyrics exploring human conflict, sociopolitical issues, and themes related to war. Throughout its history, the band has gone through different phases that have shaped its musical evolution and identity.
Following an initial period that ended in 2018, the band resumed its activities in 2021 with founding members Taylor Cuadros (vocals and guitar), Camilo Huertas (bass), and Camilo Páramo (drums). Their reunion led to the creation of Drag Me To Hell, their five-track debut EP, released on June 11, 2021.
In 2022, Angel Of Light released While Heavy Metal Plays Hard, a demo single marking another release in the band's musical journey. After going on hiatus in 2023, the band began preparing for its return in 2026, continuing as a three-piece lineup.
This new chapter features new music and the upcoming release of Gods Of The Arena, the band's next full-length album, scheduled for December 2026. With the singles Fire In Your Soul and Moonlight, Angel Of Light opens a new chapter in its history, shaping the next phase of its sound and setting the stage for what lies ahead.
